BZA Hearing July 11, 2023

The Board of Zoning Appeals of Kingstree, South Carolina will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room of the Frank H. McGill Municipal Complex, located at 401 North Longstreet Street, Kingstree, South Carolina.

 Case Number BZA 2023-07-001B: Sjoukie Holt [‘applicant’] seeks +/- 2 feet variances to the rear yard setbacks for the property located at West Brooks Street, represented by Williamsburg County Tax Map #11-025-057, and is zoned (R-10), Low Density, Single-Family. The request for a variance may be authorized by the Board of Zoning Appeals pursuant §153.232. If approved the request would grant variances from the provisions of Table 153.304(A): District Dimensional Standards-Minimum Yard Setback, Section 153.403.24. If approved the variance would allow for the construction of a Tiny Home.  Each person including staff, board members, and the public will be required to comply with the current SCDHEC and CDC guidelines prior to entering the meeting.

Case Number BZA 2023-07-002B: Sjoukie Holt [‘applicant’] seeks +/- 2 feet variances to the rear yard setbacks for the property located at West Brooks Street, represented by Williamsburg County Tax Map #11-025-058, and is zoned (R-10), Low Density, Single-Family. The request for a variance may be authorized by the Board of Zoning Appeals pursuant §153.232. If approved the request would grant variances from the provisions of Table 153.304(A): District Dimensional Standards-Minimum Yard Setback, Section 153.403.24. If approved the variance would allow for the construction of a Tiny Home.  Each person including staff, board members, and the public will be required to comply with the current SCDHEC and CDC guidelines prior to entering the meeting.

Case Number BZA 2023-07-003B: Melvin Price [‘applicant’] seeks +/- 3 feet variances to the rear yard setbacks for the property located at 516 Live Oak Avenue, represented by Williamsburg County Tax Map #11-024-115, and is zoned (R-10), Low Density, Single-Family. The request for a variance may be authorized by the Board of Zoning Appeals pursuant §153.232. If approved the request would grant variances from the provisions of Table 153.304(A): District Dimensional Standards-Minimum Yard Setback, Section 153.403.24. If approved the variance would allow for the construction of an addition to the existing dwelling. Each person including staff, board members, and the public will be required to comply with the current SCDHEC and CDC guidelines prior to entering the meeting.
