Case Number ARB 2023-07-001A: LEGACY FITNESS ON MILL ST. [‘the applicant’], has requested a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) for new signage design in accordance with the Kingstree Zoning Ordinance Section 153.248: Certificate of Appropriateness(A)-Required. If approved, the COA would allow [‘the applicant’] to erect a sign on the wall above the entrance of the property located at 125 East Mill Street and represented by Williamsburg County Tax Max ID 11-025-198 and inside the Core Commercial (CC) Zoning District.
Case Number ARB 2023-07-002A: THE TOWN OF KINGSTREE [‘the applicant’], has requested a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) for a Mural. The COA request is in accordance with the Kingstree Zoning Ordinance Section 153.248: Certificate of Appropriateness(A) – Required. If approved, the COA would allow the Mural, 360 square feet, to be erected on the wall facing the Southside of The Paisley Pearl located at 136 North Academy Street and Williamsburg County Tax Map #11-025-160.
The intent of the CC Zoning District is to establish an area for concentrated general business development that the public requires. These regulations are designed to protect the essential characteristics of the district by promotion of business and public uses which serve the public and to discourage industrial and wholesale developments which do not lend themselves to pedestrian traffic.
