THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS of Kingstree, South Carolina will hold a Public Hearing Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room of the Frank H. McGill Municipal Complex, located at 401 North Longstreet Street, Kingstree, South Carolina
Case Number BZA 2022-06-001B Little Miss Muffet1 Day Care Center [‘Applicant’] is requesting a variances from the Code of Ordinances of Kingstree [‘the code’] a variance from the provisions of Table 153.304(A) [‘the code’] (District Dimensional Standards-Minimum Yard Setback), 20 feet to 1 feet, front yard setback requirements. The request for a variance may be authorized by the Board of Zoning Appeals pursuant §153.232 [‘the code’]. The property is located at 1006 Wilkerson Street, is zoned High Density Residential, Two Family (R-6), and represented by Williamsburg County Tax Map #11-054-031. The request, if approved, would allow for the expansion of a covered and open sides crosswalk to extend from the front of the building to the edge of the street on the northern boundary of the property.
Case Number BZA 2022-06-002B B & B Tobacco and Vape [‘Applicant’] is requesting a Special Exception permit to allow the illumination of signage pursuant Section 153.654(4) [‘the code’] (Signs permitted in the Neighborhood Commercial district), and would allow the freestanding and wall signs at property located at 607 North Longstreet Street and is represented by Williamsburg County Tax Map #11-013-042. The request maybe authorized by the Board pursuant to Section 153.232 of the Code of Ordinances for Kingstree, South Carolina.
