ARB Special Call Meeting
The Architectural Review Board (ARB) of Kingstree, South Carolina will hold a Special Call Meeting at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Kingstree Town Hall, 401 North Longstreet Street, Kingstree, South Carolina 29556.
Case Number ARB 2023-04-001A: TOWN OF KINGSTREE. [‘the applicant’], has requested a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) for a Mural and design in accordance with the Kingstree Zoning Ordinance Section 153.248: Certificate of Appropriateness(A)-Required. If approved, the COA would allow [‘the applicant’] to erect a mural on the wall facing the South side of the building and property located at 128 Hampton Avenue and represented by Williamsburg County Tax Max ID 11-025-219 and inside the Core Commercial (CC) Zoning District.
The intent of the CC Zoning District is to establish an area for concentrated general business development that the public requires. These regulations are designed to protect the essential characteristics of the district by promotion of business and public uses which serve the public and to discourage industrial and wholesale developments which do not lend themselves to pedestrian traffic.
