The Town of Kingstree Recreation Department is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Assistant. This position entails working 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with occasional work during the weekend. The role encompasses many responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, maintaining all sports fields and indoor facilities. Performs basic maintenance of lawn and power equipment. Performs all custodial work in all parks and recreation buildings and bathrooms, such as dumping the garbage. While performing this job, the successful candidate must work near moving mechanical parts and outside in weather conditions. A high school diploma or GED is required.  Applicants must also have a South Carolina driver’s license.
