I am Pulled Over By An Officer?
If you see a blue light in your mirror, pull slowly to the right and stop in a safe place. If you are on a secluded and dark road, you may proceed slowly to a location that provides more light. If the officer pulls behind you after you stop, turn off your engine and stay in your vehicle. Please remain seated and do not make any sudden moves. It is recommended to keep your hands on the steering wheel within view. At the officer’s request locate your vehicle registration and driver’s license. If the officer requests that you step out of your vehicle, please do so and follow the instructions from the officer.
